March 2010
The Bridge Group is on the up with a new appointment in the north of England.
South Manchester-based Michelle Hallmark has taken up the new role of regional communications manager, to serve clients in the north.
The firm, listed as a PR Week ‘top 10’ public sector consultancy, provides communications services to social housing, regeneration, local authority and other not-for-profit clients nationwide.
Michelle’s appointment will help to better serve existing clients in the region, as well as develop new links.
Previously PR manager with The Bridge Group, Michelle was born in Macclesfield and is CIPR and NCTJ qualified. She has worked with more than 40 clients over the past five years, since making the move from journalism into PR.
Her appointment follows the recent recruitment of PR account manager Lucy Beaumont. Lucy relocated to the Midlands after working with a number of Cheshire-based organisations. Her experience will also be used to support the north-west operation.
Managing director Nicola Winn said: “It’s an exciting start for 2010 for The Bridge Group as we look to expand our client list and geographic reach. With clients all over the country, we felt it was appropriate to launch a new regional operation to better serve local clients, enhance our presence and introduce our services to more organisations.
“Our reputation for delivering PR which meets the needs of public sector organisations, and their audiences, is extensive. Combined with Michelle’s understanding of the media and PR expertise, we are confident that existing and new clients will benefit from the move.”
