It’s got to
be PR-fect

November 2009

Coventry-based marketing and communications agency The Bridge Group has expanded its team, with the appointment of PR professional Lucy Beaumont.

The 27-year old, who once did the dishes for a TV chef who attended an event she promoted, joins the company from a Cheshire-based communications agency. She is a journalism graduate and qualified senior reporter.

The Bridge Group, which now employs 33 staff, was named the top Midlands public sector consultancy by PR Week in 2009. Lucy’s experience of working for clients from the housing, local authority, charity and education sectors brings further specialist expertise to the already established team.

Nicola Winn, managing director of The Bridge Group, said: “We were delighted to welcome Lucy to the team. More than 85 per cent of our clients operate within the public sector and all our staff have a passion for working in this arena. Lucy is a great asset to the company and her knowledge of this sector means she’s fitted in perfectly.”

Lucy said: “The Bridge Group’s reputation and specialism of working with not-for-profit organisations sets it apart from other agencies. As soon as I read the job description I knew it was exactly where I wanted to take my career progression.

“It’s very fulfilling to be a part of such a knowledgeable and dynamic team and I am looking forward to bringing my experience to contribute to the company’s continued success. “
